The Texas Exes Chicago Chapter raises money for scholarships given to local students attending UT Austin each year, as part of its mission to praise, promote, and protect UT Austin and its students.
Interested in getting more involved with the Chicago Texas Exes? We are looking for volunteers to help with a variety of activities. Here is a list of positions we would like to fill:
- Treasurer/assistant treasurer
- Texas Exes Business Network coordinator
- PR/Marketing/Web coordinator
- Brownstone Game Day volunteers
For more details on each of these positions, please contact Miriam Madrigal.
The Chicago Chapter established an endowed scholarship in 2006. We still continue to raise funds to increase this endowment, allowing us to expand our scholarship program for students planning on attending UT from the Chicagoland area.
If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to our scholarship fund, please contact our Chapter President, Miriam Madrigal.
